Thomas Watkins

Thomas Watkins, 85, of Westtown, New York entered into rest on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018. Thomas was born October 17th, 1932 in Henning, Tennessee. He is predeceased by his parents Elijah and Annabelle Watkins. He and his family relocated to Buffalo, New York where he grew up and later enlisted in the Army. He served his country and fought in the Korean War. He started a family in Buffalo. He later relocated to Monticello, New York with his then-wife Anne Watkins and children David and Anna. He since lived out his days in Westtown, New York with his daughter Anna and her husband Lamont with their children Asia and Xavier. This is where locals honk and wave at him as he sits on the porch enjoying life in his happy place. He is survived by his children Synette Parks, Jack Lockett, Develle Lockett, Denice Watkins, David Watkins, Anna West and his grandchildren Antwan Lockett, Cameron Hutcherson, Develle Lockett Jr., Autumn Lockett, Alexis Watkins, David Watkins, Asia West, Antonio Watkins, Xavier West, and Elijah Watkins and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, during the hours of 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. Burial will follow at Orange County Veterans Cemetery located at 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, New York 10924, with Military Honors at 11:30 AM. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
