Thomas William Streicher, a long time resident of Monroe, New York died at home on May 11, 2016. He was 51 years of age. Tom was an Architect who was most recently employed by Lothrop Associates, LLC. He graduated Monroe Woodbury High School 1983 then went on to attend Orange County Community College where he majored in Architecture and graduated in 1987 finally attending Pratt Institute, again majoring in Architecture where he graduated in 1991. Tom was an avid cyclist, a keen photographer, and a computer wiz. He could put his hand to any project inside or out and planned carefully and with precision to complete the project to perfection. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Thecla and their two beautiful daughters, Orla (13) & Nieve (8). They loved and adored him as he loved and adored them. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Son and Brother. He is also survived by his loving parents, Bill & Mary Streicher of Bluffton, South Carolina, (formerly of Monroe, New York). He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Catherine Simen and her husband, Rene and their children, Laurel & Bailey; by his aunts and uncles: Ann & Tom Godwin; Alice & Robert Koptula; Daniel & Arlene Carroll and Roberta & John Judge and their children & grandchildren as well as by his in-Laws: Rebecca & Mark Randazzo; David Mooney; Aaron & Fiona Mooney; Jonathan Mooney & Jean Gallagher; Simon Mooney & Karen Funke and Adam Mooney and his nieces & nephews: Matthew, Kaitlin, Quentin, Claire, Callum, Christopher, Tighearnan, Sorcha, Niall, Samuel & Ama. There will be no public visitation. A private family service has been scheduled. Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc. located in Chester, New York. A remembrance and celebration of Tom's Life and Loves will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at 17 Summit Place, Monroe, New York 10950.
