Thomas J. Delahanty

Thomas J. Delahanty Greenwood Lake, New York Thomas J. Delahanty of Greenwood Lake, New York, a Union Painter, and a life long resident of the area, died June 10, 2012 at his residence. He was 87 years of age. Thomas was born in New York. He was proud to be an American and served his Country with Honor during the World War II serving in the Army and earning the Bronze Star, Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He loved his family, loved to drive, and loved to take you out to lunch. He gave and never asked for anything. He always asked how you were and would do anything you asked. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Smith Delahanty. Thomas' sisters, Joan and Teresa and his brother Joe survive him. His children, Douglas, Scott and his wife, Victoria, and Deirdre and her husband Scott survive him also, as well as his grandchildren, Mere, Thomas, William, Jack and Molly. Visitation will be private. Burial with Military Honor Guard will be held on June 23, 2012 at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924 at 1:00PM.
