Surrounded by the love of family and friends, Tania Marie VanCuren was called home to God and took her rightful place amongst the angels on May 23, 2023. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in all the lives she touched. As an Organ Donor through her passing she was able to continue to give back and has saved two lives.
Tanias life should be thought of as a celebration. The joy and passion that she brought to everything she did was apparent to all. Highly creative, Tania was widely regarded as a leading floral artist in New York City and beyond. Tania had many talents and an outrageously funny sense of humor that brought a smile to everyone she met. Tania loved to be funny, dance and the NY Mets!
Nothing was more important and loved in her life as much as her precious son Landon. Tania was a loving, caring and supportive mother who always put her son above all else. Their love is eternal, and their bond could never be broken.
Surviving in addition to her parents Emma Ferrerya and Thomas VanCuren she is also survived by her devoted partner, Debbie Ramirez, Landons caring father, Michael Arbelo, her sisters Tina VanCuren, Erika Koestle, Amanda VanCuren (Jason) and Victoria VanCuren. Her brothers Gregory VanCuren (Debbie), John J. Prosser (Kathy), Tommy VanCuren, Ray VanCuren Her cousin and best friend Stacie Ferreyra-Santana (Nick), God-son Ricky Soto. Her beloved nieces Juliana Pino, Gianna Franko, Brittanie, Natalia, Madison and Sophia VanCuren, Jaylyn and Lilyana Rivera, Sharon, Amanda and April Prosser. Her beloved nephews Gregory Jr. VanCuren, Alexander Rivera, John and Josiah Prosser also survive her. She is also survived by many uncles, Cousins, Great- Nieces/Nephews and Friends. Too numerous to mention but all loved by Tania equally.
"Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the day time, and falling in at night." Edna St. Vincent Millay
