Steven Wolfson

In loving memory of Steven J. Wolfson, a dedicated New York state resident hailing from Walden, Steven peacefully passed away at 77 on January 21, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the cherished son of Louis I. Wolfson and Gertrude (Diamond) Wolfson, formerly of Smithtown, NY. Steven is also preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judi Walshon, formerly of Rocky Point, NY.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen T. Wolfson, and his daughter, Gineane M. Haberlin of Monroe, NY. Steven took immense pride in his two grandchildren, Cameryn E. Haberlin and Shayne N. Haberlin. Additionally, he is survived by his niece, Ginette Walshon of Rocky Point, and his beloved canine companion, Ranger.

Throughout his career as the warehouse manager for Knitwaves, a children's clothing brand in Moonachie, NJ, Steven became known for his quick-witted, endless sense of humor. He was passionate about classic cars, notably Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge, showcasing an uncanny ability to fix almost anything without prior experience.

Visitation was held at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday,  January 24, 2024.

Services will be held privately to honor Steven's memory. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the North Shore Animal Shelter or the American Heart Association.
