Sharon Lee Bernadette Neilan

Sharon Lee Neilan, a retired Warehouse Operator for Amscan in Harriman, NY and a resident of Middletown, New York died at Orange Regional Medical Center on January 16, 2014. She was 71 years of age. The daughter of George R. Newcomer and Mary Otterstedt she was born in 1942 in South Carolina. Everyone who knew Sharon knew that her world revolved around her grandson Sean. Sharon and Sean were "buddies". She would have a smile "cheek to cheek" when Sean would walk into the room; she was a wonderful grandmother and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Robert and his wife Deanna Neilan, and their son Bryan of Norwich, New York and her daughter, Barbara and her husband Scott Atwood, and their son Sean, of Westtown, New York. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 from the hours of 4:00 to 8:0 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918.
