Scott V. Foley

Our loving husband and father, Scott Foley, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
Scott was born in the Bronx, N.Y., to William and Kathleen Foley (Bracken).
Scott was the oldest of two children and grew up in Chester, N.Y., in the infamous Surrey Meadows.
Scott received a private education; he attended St Columba Parochial school in Chester, N.Y., and graduated from John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen, N.Y. He attended Saint Marys University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Scott worked on Wall Street before deciding to scrap the long commute and open his own Real Estate Company in Chester, N.Y.
Scott married his wife Heather in 1994, and they spent many years traveling and were delighted when they welcomed Zachary and Andrew into the family.
Scott always put his family first. He made every day spent with them something to cherish. He never missed a basketball game or sporting event that his children were involved in, and he was often the person cheering the loudest.
Scott made every child on the team know they were important.
Scott enjoyed his many years working in Real Estate. Throughout Scotts life, he had many wonderful and lifelong friends that brought him immense joy.
Scott will be remembered by his family and friends for his fantastic personality, endless love of family and friends, and his kind nature and willingness to help others.
Scott is survived by his wife Heather and sons Zachary and Andrew Foley. His brother Robert and his wife Donna Foley of Salisbury Mills, N.Y. His nephew Austin, nieces Julia and Sophia Foley, and brother-in-law Kenneth McGinty.
In honor of Scott, please live life to the fullest and always remember to be kind.

Starting in June 2023, a scholarship will be given out in memory of Scott Foley. It will be given to an athlete that plans on attending college.
We will be celebrating Scotts life on Saturday, May 14, 2022, with visitation from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
