ROYAL (ROY) CLOUTIER March 17, 1938 - April 5, 2021 Roy Cloutier of Harriman, NY died on April 5, 2021. He was 83. He was born March 17, 1938 in Lowell, MA. Roy retired after 23 years of service from the US Navy protecting our country. He never went outside without his Navy hat. He worked at IBM and brought the family home the first personal computer, retiring with 27 years of service. After retiring, he served our community as Orange County Correction officer retiring in 2000. When he retired again, he worked part time as a security guard at Woodbury Commons NY protecting our community. Roy is survived by his loving wife, Alfonsina (Ann) Cloutier, widower of Loretta Cloutier. His son David (USN Seabee) and wife Monique and grandchildren Marissa, Nick (ARNG), and Chris residing in Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by his son Robert and wife Shirley and grandchildren children Kayla and Kyle residing in Colorado Springs, Co. He is survived by his stepdaughter Donna Oramas and granddaughter Olivia Oramas who reside in Wyckoff, NJ and stepson Robert Grant and his wife Karen residing in Monroe, NY. Roy is also survived by three great grandchildren: CJ, Onix and Parzival. Roy is also survived brother Aldore Cloutier (USN) and his wife Alice of North Kingston, RI. Roy loved his family, proudly served his country, protected our community and country, entertained, and volunteered in our community. Roy and his wife Ann were also known as "Salt and Pepper" the clowns. He worked many years entertaining at Birthday parties and volunteering at many non-profit organizations. They loved making people smile! He loved photography, and coin metal detecting. There was not a joke, Roy did not know. They never stopped. He brought this world laughter, and always the life of the party. He was a son, brother, father, husband, uncle, sailor, father in-law, grandfather, great father, correctional officer, clown, little league coach, paramedic, neighbor, photographer, coin collector, and most of all he loved his family, and his county. You now know Roy. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, during the hours of 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Columba R.C. Church located at 27 High Street, Chester, NY 10918. Burial will follow at St. Columba R.C. Church Cemetery Route 94, Chester, NY 10918. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas & Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
