Rosemarie Lydia Williams

June 24, 1921 — June 17, 2018

Rosemarie Lydia Goff Williams was born on June 24th, 1921 in Belize City, Belize. Rose was one of ten children of Jacob and Rosannah Goff. She was also the last of her generation. In 1957 in Belize, a Missionary by the name of Joe Cox introduced Jehovah to Rose. While studying with Joe Cox, Rose told him "I will never go door to door," but once she started she did not stop preaching until she became ill. Rose dedicated herself to Jehovah on March 29th, 1959 in Belize. In 1972 Rose migrated to the United States to be with her family. Rose greatest Love was serving Jehovah, spending time with her family, and helping her brothers and sisters in Jehovah organization. She was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Rose faithfully supported the work of making known Jehovah's name and Kingdom. Granny, Aunt Rose, Sister Williams, Momma Rose was known for her baking and cooking throughout Belize and the United States. Who could ever forget Grannies homemade bread, bread pudding, cakes, fudge, powder bun and so many other foods made with love, which made them taste even better. Rose will be miss by many especially her family, but she would have said: "Don't cry it won't be for long, I'll see you in Paradise." Rose was preceded in death by all nine of her siblings. Left to survive is her only daughter Irma Morrison and her two grandchildren Desmond and Felicia and her four great-grandchildren Bryan, Alicia, Delicia, and Jade. Rose had a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces but had a special love for her niece Geraldine Dyer and her family. My mom, my granny, my friend, my sister We will always love you. A gathering will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Funeral arrangements and Cremation Care are under the immediate care and supervision of Thomas F. Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
