Roseann Stout

Roseann Porry Stout, a devoted mother and loving wife died on November 9, 2014 at home with her family by her side. She was 70 years of age. The daughter of the late Angelo and Adeline Rose Porry, she was born in Suffern, New York on February 14, 1944. Our Mom was a kind, loving woman who always saw the good in people and loved life. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren who were her whole world. She loved to spend time in her garden with her flowers and roses. She fought her battle with cancer the way she lived her life, with dignity and bravery, all the while maintaining her loving, kind, caring personality. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Stout at home. She is also survived by her children, Linda Joyce Szulewski & fiancAC. Tim Simmons of Port Jervis, New York; John Joyce & wife Maureen of North Port, Florida and Suzanne Chapman & fiancAC. Rusty Tooley of Matamoras, Pennsylvania and her 8 grandchildren, Jaimee Szulewski-Gurry; Claire Szulewski, Richard Chapman; Michael Chapman, Angela Joyce; Nicole Joyce; Joseph Joyce; Dominic Joyce, her great-grandson Cole Jacob Rohrer; her sister Linda Booth & husband Cliff of Middletown, New York as well as her nieces & nephews, including her niece Kristian Booth who was like a daughter to her. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Porry. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 during the hours of 5 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, located at 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, New York 12250.
