Robert C. Benedict

Robert C. Benedict of Chino Hills, California passed away August 8, 2015. He was 51 years old. The son of Robert and Mary Ann Benedict of Chester, New York, Robert was a retired L.A.P.D. Police Officer. Prior to moving to California, Robert had been a Police Officer who worked for the N.Y.P.D. Robert was an avid golfer and soccer player who played both sports for the L.A.P.D. Survivors include his wife Deanna; sons Vincent, Robert, Andrew; Daughter Lauren and Step-Son Donovan Soriano of Chino Hills, California. Robert is also survived by his brother, Matthew Benedict and his wife, Theresa; his sister, Deborah Benedict and Robert Salerno of Warwick, New York as well as his nieces Mary Kate, Maura, Emma; his nephew Alex of Chester, New York and his Grandmother, Marie Gargiulo of Chester, New York and his many other loving relatives and friends. There will be a Memorial Mass Celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church located at 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918.
