Richard Blood

Richard "Dick" Blood passed away with his wife Rita by his side on Saturday August 5, 2023. He was 88. Dick, formerly from Glenside PA, resided in Middletown NY for the past 10 years.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rita, daughters, Joanne (Bob), Barb (Brad) and Sandy. He has six grandchildren, Nicole (Mike), Jennifer (Frank), Laura Beth (Jen), Brittany, Rachel and James. He was Grampie to five Great Grandchildren, Sloan, Colton, Frankie, Mackenzie and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his beautiful grandson Richie and his siblings, Ruth, Florence, Buddy and Bob.

He is also survived by his Servpro family where he was known as Pop-Pop and was their true Mr. Fix It for many years.

Dick loved spending time with his family. He had the privilege of going to many Nascar events, with the latest one being at the Pocono 400 in July. He was a handyman to everyone. He passed time playing games and puzzles on his iPad, watching HGTV and Game Shows.
Per Richard's wishes, a simple cremation service will be held now.
Cremation care is provided under the immediate supervision and direction of Brendan and Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The Flynn Family and staff of FLYNN FUNERAL & CREMATION MEMORIAL CENTERS are providing funeral arrangements and assistance.
