Richard Anthony Aiello

Richard Anthony Aiello Warwick, New York Richard Anthony Aiello of Warwick, New York a retired driver for United Parcel Service, Bronx, New York and a transportation driver for Occupations, Inc. for 16 years and a 30 year resident of the area, died August 26, 2014 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital, Warwick, New York. He was 71 years of age. The son of the late Anthony and Blanche Aiello he was born in Westchester County, NY in 1943. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4952 Warwick, New York and St. Stephen's the first Martyr R.C. Church also of Warwick, NY. The family would like to thank Occupations, Inc., Dr. John Dermigny, New York Presbyterian Hospital, St. Anthony's Community Hospital and Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties for their care and support during Richard's illness. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joan Aiello of Warwick, NY, daughter Kelley Alves and her husband Carlos Alves, son Richard (Rick) Aiello, daughter Christine Aiello and her companion Robert Tomcho, daughter Danielle Aiello and her companion Jonathan Mejia. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren Jamie Lennox and Jesse Alves and 1 great grandchild Danika Lennox, along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Stephen's R.C. Church 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, New York on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM. A repast will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall 10 Robert Drive, Florida, New York 10921, following the Memorial Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be sent to your local animal shelter of ASPCA as Richard was an avid animal lover.
