Randolph Scott VanDunk, Sr. of Warwick, New York a retired Union Laborer with Union Local 754, Bardonia, NY and a 50 year resident of the area, died January 15, 2016 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital, Warwick, NY. He was 70 years of age. The son of Robert VanDunk and Elizabeth Mann he was born on September 9, 1945 in Suffern, NY. Before becoming disabled, Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to raise animals, especially his chickens. He had a great sense of Humor and was generous to a fault. When Randy left this earth he took a part of his family and friends along with him and left a void in all of our hearts. Survivors include his wife Donna VanDunk at home, son Randolph Scott VanDunk, Jr., and his wife Sharon of Hurleyville, NY, son Sean R. VanDunk of Warwick, NY, daughter Elizabeth Hrinya of Warwick, NY, brother Robin and his wife Terry of Chester, NY, sister, Brunetta "Cheeco" Calhoun of East Orange, NJ, along with his grandchildren Derek Hrinya of Queens, NY, Zachary VanDunk of Vero Beach, Florida, Ayla VanDunk of Hurleyville, NY, and Katara Van Dunk of Hurleyville, NY. He was pre-deceased by his son, Robert Leonard VanDunk, and his siblings "Sonny Boy" VanDunk of Hillburn, NY, Jeannie Powel of Hillburn, NY and Carlotta "Cissy" Bello of Maybrook, NY. There shall not be a visitation service held. Cremation was at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York. Memorial contributions in Randolph's name to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 80 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550 would be appreciated by the family.
