Ralph Breden

Ralph John Breden Sr. of Pomona, NY, passed away at his home Wednesday May 6th 2020, surrounded by family including his wife of 68 years Beulah (Boots). He was 93 years old. Ralph was born April 23, 1927 in NYC and grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. At 18 he enlisted in the army during WWll and served several years with the signal corp stationed in the Philippines. At 25, Ralph married Boots Dutton and they moved to Pearl River, NY where he worked in pharmaceutical production at Lederle Laboratories for the next 35 years. Ralph was a hard working family man who had a strong love and respect for nature. He was an avid outdoorsman and camping enthusiast. Warm hearted, intelligent and a generous man known for his witty sense of humor, he was always ready to lend a hand. He truly reveled in the love of his family. We adored him and he will be deeply missed. Ralph is survived by his spouse Boots - who still claims his last words were, "Are we having fun yet?" As well as children Ralph Jr., Joy, Merrybeth, Fred, Lise, and Kyanne. Grandchildren Rachel, Christopher, Jessica, Jamaal, Karianne, Mariah, Jane, Jenay, Steven and Najee. Great Grandchildren Ava, Asher and Amalia. We will be celebrating his life with friends and family any and every chance we get!
