Raina Faye Ferraro

Raina Faye Ferraro, of Goshen, New York and a 17 year resident of the area died on May 8, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, in Middletown, New York. She was 21 years of age. Raina was born to Giulio and Iris Ferraro, in New York City on November 16, 1993. Raina was a student at Rockland Community College, where she had completed her first semester. She worked as a Sales Associate for 2 years at Vineyard Vines, at The Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets, in Central Valley, New York. Raina was a member of the Girl Scout Heart of the Hudson Troop 392, the Chester Academy Cheer Squad and a Volunteer at Elant of Goshen. Raina was the heart of our family. She was always happy and she loved her family and friends. She was at her happiest, when she had her family and friends together at special occasions. Raina loved cheerleading, movies, sushi and hanging with her friends and brothers. She also loved cooking with her parents; she started making meat balls at the age of three, with her Dad. Raina was blessed with the greatest gift, of bringing people together. She always brought her smile and kindness, to everyone she met. Survivors include her loving parents, Giulio and Iris Ferraro, at home as well as her brothers, Scott Ferraro and his wife, Shannon and Joseph Ferraro and his fiancAC., Theresa Pezzola. She is also survived by her Aunts, Barbara Schrager; Lina DeVoy; Gina DellaRossa; Joann Ferraro; Rosa Ferraro; Anna Ferraro; Angela Ferraro and Bobbie Jo Tirelli, as well as her Uncles, Tony Ferraro; John Ferraro; Stuart Schrager; Brian DeVoy and Tony Tirelli along with her nephews, Gavin; Landon and Finn and her "second parents", Sandy and Dave Nagler. Visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 during the hours of 4 to 8 PM and on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 during the hours of 4 to 8 PM, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Services will begin at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Beth Moses Cemetery, located at 1500 Wellwood Avenue, Babylon, New York 11704. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested, and they would deeply appreciate, that donations be made in Raina's name, to the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, at Westchester Medical Center, 80 Woods Road, Valhalla, New York 10595.
