Rafael Coloma Monroe, New York Rafael Coloma, a 5 year resident of Monroe, New York died on August 25, 2014 at Middletown Park Manor. He was 72 years of age. The son of the late Rafael and Estilita Coloma, he was born in Havana, Cuba in the year 1942. Rafael was an Usher at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Yonkers, New York for nearly 20 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had an incredible work ethic and a sweet disposition that made him friends everywhere he went. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Coloma of Monroe, New York; his son Ralph Coloma and wife Veronica of Monroe, New York; his daughter Maria Leichner and husband James of Teaneck, New Jersey and his daughter Michelle Bond and husband Matthew of Highland Mills, New York. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rachel; Steven; Ryan; Matthew; Timothy; Jake and Dylan as well as by his sisters, Carmen Sanchez and Mary Fundora. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 during the hours of 2 to 4 PM & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A private interment will follow.
