Philip R. Brennan

Philip R. Brennan of Milford, PA, formerly of Sugar Loaf, NY, Passed away peacefully on 12/12/2023 at Westchester Medical Center. He was the fourth child of twelve born to Michael and Nora Brennan in Chicago, Ill. 

He was predeceased in death by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth F. Brennan, in 2010.

 Survivors include his son Stephen P. Brennan and his wife Lisa of Bedford, TX, his daughters Kathleen A. Brennan of Westfall, PA., Maura Reynolds, and her husband Kevin and Patricia J. Brennan. 

Phil was the proud grandfather of Col. Michael P. Brennan, Christine Hill, Stephen Brennan, Patrick Matijevich, Matthew Brennan, Megan Aversano, Andrew Reynolds & Caitlin Reynolds.

He was also a great-grandfather to Ashleigh, Madelyn, Catie, Jacob, Owen, Gavin, Jack, Alex, Gia, Wes, and Landon. 

Philip is also survived by his siblings Bob, Maura, Bridget, Noreen, Paul & Cathy.

He was predeceased by his brothers Kieran, Daniel, Jack, and sisters Marguerite & Josephine. 

Philip served as a submariner in the US Navy - Korea from 1950-1954.

 He became an NYC Firefighter in 1959 and retired as a Lieutenant in 1981.

Thomas & Brendan Flynn provided cremation care at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. The Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff provided funeral care and supervision.
