Philip (Phil) Lupo Monsey, New York Philip L. Lupo, a 54 year resident of Monsey, New York died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, New York. He was 89 years of age. The son of the late Louis and the Maria Lupo, Philip was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in the year 1925. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired from Lederle Labs, Pearl River, New York as a Packaging Line Mechanic in 1994. He had worked with them for a period of 34 years. Philip Lupo was a member of The Order of the Sons of Italy, Vincent Linguanti Lodge #2212, in Suffern, New York and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Monroe, New York. Phil enjoyed being with family and friends. He loved gardening around his property and tending to his fig tree. He was an avid crossword puzzle solver. Phil was a kind, gentle, loving person who will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him. He was predeceased by his wife, Concetta "Connie" Ceglio who died in the year 1986. He is survived by daughter, Denise Williams and husband Rodger of Monroe, New York; his son Louis Lupo and wife Heather of Cornwall, New York. He is also survived by his 4 grand children, Jennifer Williams; Danielle Williams; Brandon Lupo and Spencer Lupo as well as his 4 great-grandchildren, Gianna; Giovanni; Summer and Logan, his 4 sisters, Rae Bugliarello; Nancy Laiosa; Rose Ludwig and Louisa Cable-Monteleone and his 9 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Sacred Heart Chapel Church, located at 151 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950 with Father Thomas Byrnes officiating. Entombment to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, located at 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, New York 10530. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Phil's name to Vincent Linguanti Lodge #2212, PO Box 155, Suffern, New York 10901. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
