Perry Roy

Perry Roy, of Washingtonville, New York, a Construction Management Supervisor, at Con-Edison for twenty-nine years, and a lifetime resident of the area, died on July 17, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, in Wallkill, New York. He was 61 years old. The son of late John and Margaret Roy, he was born on April 26, 1957 in Newburgh, New York. Perry was a very simple man, who loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Roy, his son Matthew and his wife Sarah Roy, his daughter, Riley Roy, and his Grandchild, Colin Roy. He is further survived by his brothers, Albert & Billy Roy, brother-in-law, Frederick Potts Jr. and wife Diann, father-in-law, Edward Patterson, brother-in-laws, Edward Patterson Jr. and wife Caren, Denis Patterson, Terry Patterson and wife Anne, sister-in-laws, Margie Flynn and her husband Tom, Jeanne Kassis and husband Art. He also leaves behind, Fred Potts III, Laura Potts-Sprague and her husband Mike, Alan Potts and wife Jane, Greg Potts and wife Brenda, and Sharon Potts. Perry was pre-deceased by his sister Margaret Potts, and brothers Eugene, Thomas, John, Harry and sister-in-law Gloria, and a special nephew Nicholas Potts. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday July 22, 2018, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM; and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe New York 10950.
