Paul W. Drake

Paul W. Drake passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020. He was 93 years old. Paul was born in 1926, to the late, John and Anna Drake, in Gassaway, West Virginia. He moved to the area, and was a 61 year resident of Monroe. Paul was a United States Veteran, serving in World War II. Paul is survived by his wife Virginia. Additionally, he is survived by his brother Ben Drake, and sister Gladys Clark; children, Catherine Smith (Paul Smith), J Drake Hamilton(Patrick), John Drake (Meredith), Elizabeth Battiato (Christopher), Barbara Bruetsch (John); grandchildren John Drake, Christopher and Anthony Battiato, Brandon and Dylan Bruetsch, and several nieces and nephews.
