Paul V. Morais

Paul V. Morais, a longtime resident and active member of the Washingtonville Community, died peacefully at his residence on August 19, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was 80 years of age. The son of Harvey and Lena Morais, Paul was born in 1938 in New York, New York. Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of Saint Mary's R.C. Church, and a past member of the Washingtonville Rotary. He was the Founder of the Paul V. Morais Insurance Agency in Washingtonville, New York, which he ran for 28 years prior to his retirement. Family was everything to him and he was everything to his family. He is survived by his wife, Manuela Morais; their children: daughter Laura Quick and her husband Charles (Chuck), and son Paul Morais and his wife Monica; grandchildren Jason, Zachary, and Hannah, and Nicholas, Laurielle and Paul (P.J); his sister Jeanette Morais, and brothers, Joe Morais and his wife Helen, John Morais and his wife Sylvia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2018 during the hours of 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church located in Washingtonville, NY on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Cremation will take place at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc. in Chester, NY. Funeral arrangements and cremation care have been entrusted to Thomas F. and Brendan T.
