Patricia Ann O'Leary

Patricia Ann O'Leary, a longtime resident of Chester, New York passed away suddenly on December 19, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Wallkill, New York. Patricia was 74 years of age. The daughter of the late George and Ruth Licitra, she was born in New York City in 1939. She was the loving wife of the late Denis P. O'Leary (NYPD) who died on May 31, 2013.Patricia was also predeceased by her in-laws Denis & May O'Leary; her two brothers Fred Eisberg and Robert Edwards; and her sister Fran Dury. Patricia was a tremendously dedicated and loving mother. She loved being a stay-at-home Mom and her children were the light of her life. She was always willing to lend a hand or just listen. Her heart and home were always open and she was an eager volunteer, usually found as a cheerleading coach, a Brownie Leader, or the president of the St. Columba PTA. She often reminisced about the fun of having a yard full of kids, because all were welcome. She will be gravely missed by her children Denis and his wife Ann of Riverside, CT; Thomas and his wife Linda of Boca Raton, FL; George and his wife Barbara of Boca Raton, FL; and Jeanine DeVogel and her husband Michael of Cornwall, NY. Patricia's grandchildren brought her so much joy, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She was very much loved by her grandchildren: Michael, Isabella, Tyler, Cameron, Kimberly, and Alyssa. She is survived by her beloved sister Jeanne Licitra Huyter of Harrison, New York, her brother-in-law Donald O'Leary of New Jersey and her sister-in-law June Ward of New Jersey, as well as her many nephews, nieces, and cousins, including her dear friends Wayne and Adrienne Miller. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A private interment service will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2013.
