Nicholas Zaharchuk

Nicholas Paul Zaharchuk of Washingtonville, NY, died on Wednesday November 24, 2021, at the age of 97 years old at home, in the presence of his long time and lovely caregiver - Malina Vita. Nick was the son of the late Alexandra Boykoff and Paul Zaharchuk. Nick was known as a builder of homes but he was most remembered as the builder of enduring friendships and lasting relationships with all who knew him. Survivors include his son, John and wife, Susan, and their three boys, Nicholas, Alex and Peter, his son-in-law Gerry Bartkowski and his four children, Geoffrey, Katherine, Christopher and Teresa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 11, 2021at 11:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church located at 27 High Street in Chester New York. Internment will immediately follow at St. Columba R.C. Parish Cemetery located on Route 94 in Chester, NY. There will not be a public visitation.
