Mimi Bajakian

January 6, 1933 — October 22, 2022

Mimi Mary Bajakian passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born on January 6, 1933, to the loving parents Nishian and Nevart Dadian in Flushing NY.
Mimi was a very intelligent student of the arts and achieved her Masters degree in art. She shared her passion for the arts with her students whom she taught during her 30-year career as an art teacher in the North Bergen, Montvale and Ramsey school districts. She was a very active woman who traveled the world extensively, studying and appreciating the many different cultures and people on pretty much every continent.
She is predeceased by husband, Levon Bajakian, by 27 years almost to the very day.
She is survived by her 3 children, Richard Bajakian, Bryan Bajakian, and Denise Golembreski. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Levon and Brianna Bajakian along with Nicole and Cody Golembreski. Unfortunately, Mimi missed the birth of her great grandson Christian Tyler Dedvukaj. Mimi is also survived by her only brother, Jack Dadian.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the viewing at St. Leon Armenian Church at 12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ on October 30, 2022, from 2-4pm. A funeral mass will follow at 4pm.
God and her relationship with her lord were so important in her life that In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that those who wish to honor Mimi do so by donating to St. Leon Church in her memory.
Funeral arrangements are being care for by the the Directors and Staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
