Michael Anthony Sicilian, the son of the late Leonard and Anna Sicilian, was born and raised in the Clason Point section of the Bronx. He attended Holy Cross Elementary School, Cardinal Hayes High School, and the SUNY at Oswego, N.Y. After SUNY, Michael served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-1953. Michael spent the major part of his professional career at The McBurney School in Manhattan from 1954-1988, both as a teacher and administrator. His last assignment was Dean of Students at Salesian High School in New Rochelle, N.Y. In 1995 Michael finally left the Bronx and moved to Monroe with his wife Phyllis. He made numerous friends at "The Office", also known as Monroe OTB while Phyllis did likewise with the Ladies Club of the Timber Hills Condominiums. Michael is survived by his children: Maria Randazzo of Manlius, N.Y., Michael J. Sicilian and his wife Donna of Mahwah, N.J., Matthew Sicilian and his wife Lisa of Rockaway, N.J., Paul Sicilian and his wife Lisa of Newport, R.I. and Christine Siciliano and her husband Anthony of Monroe, N.Y. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Jenna and Ariana Sicilian, Vincent Randazzo, Anthony and Joseph Siciliano, Vica and Natasha Sicilian and Michael and Christine Sicilian. Michael is also survived by many nephews and nieces. Michael is also survived by his sisters Margaret Siciian and Marie Traetta, his brother Dom Sicilian, and his sisters-in-law May and Elaine Sicilian. Michael is pre-deceased by his wife Phyllis, sister Frances Savino, brothers Joseph and Charles Sicilian, sister-in-law Adrienne Sicilian and grandchildren Olivia and Natalia Sicilian. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, May 29, 2013 during the hours of 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anastasia RC Church 21 North Main Street, Harriman, NY 10926. Fr. Michael Keane will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
