d. August 26, 2015

Let your smile change the world. BUT don't let the world change your smile. Martin John Coyle "Marty" Chester, NY Martin "Marty" Coyle, 47, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. We know for sure that he truly lived and treasured every moment that he was given. He was born in 1967 in New York, NY to Mary and John Coyle. He has been a resident of Chester since 1968. A kind and generous man to everyone by always finding time to be a part of their activities and his families lives, Marty, an amazing uncle, exemplified what is true in family. His nieces and nephews brought him much joy and filled him with a sense of great pride and love. The majority of his career was spent working on buildings and grounds at the Chester Elementary School. "Mr. Marty", as he was affectionately known at the school, touched the lives of all that he interacted with students, faculty, and staff alike. Intent on leaving this world just a little better than he found it, Marty succeeded in many ways. He will be remembered as a remarkable person. He was often an amusing character, knee deep in tools and gadgets, gifted and talented with his hands and ingenuity. Unique cannot even begin to describe him. He lived life for family and following his dreams to be a world traveler, and taking the time to enjoy the simple things the world has to offer. We hope he has a fantastic trip on his newest venture with the understanding this time there will be no postcards! He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his loving parents, his brother Tom and his wife, Erin, his sister Anne and her husband, Jim, his sister, Theresa and her husband, Matt and his brother, Willie and his wife, Janet and the Coyle's #6, Rosemarie and her husband, Mike and his celebrated nephews and nieces, Alexander, Mary Kate, Maura, Emma, Connor, and Charlie. Along with a host of cherished aunts, uncles and cousins, both here and across the seas, dear friends, neighbors and co-workers. Random acts of kindness or practical jokes performed in his memory would be a fitting tribute to Marty. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Sepsis Alliance would be greatly appreciated.
