Louise Geider Milyko of Sparrowbush, NY and former longtime resident of the Chester - Goshen area, died January 17, 2013 at Bon Secours Health Care Center, in Port Jervis, NY. She was 67 years of age. Louise was born in the Bronx on July 26, 1945, to the late Frank and Sally Geider. She worked as a Health Care provider for Orange County Adult Residential Center, now Valley View Health Care Facility in Goshen, NY. Louise married Warren R. Milyko, Sr., on August 5, 1961 in the Bronx; and spent the next 51 years of her life caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. The family came to make the Chester area their home, as their children were being raised. Louise was known for her guidance to her children as they were growing, and was a source of great strength and protection to her entire family. She is survived by her devoted husband Warren R. Milyko, Sr., at home and their children Doris and her husband Michael Thomas of Catskill, NY, Warren, Jr and his wife Patricia Milyko of Goshen, NY, Suzann and her husband Steve Jacobs of Middletown, NY, Nancy Milyko who has been the caregiver to both her Mom and Dad, of Sparrowbush, NY and Andrew Milyko of Chester, NY. Her loving grandchildren Joseph and Christopher Thomas, Sarah and Nicholas Milyko, Scott and Sean Jacobs also survive her. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 391 Mt Hope Road, Middletown, New York 10940 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Peter A. Rustico will be officiating.
