Laura Dysinger

Laura Cordes Dysinger passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022 at Sapphire Nursing Home in Goshen, NY.
The daughter of Henry and Laura Cordes, she was born on October 26, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey and spent most of her childhood in Oradell, New Jersey.
Laura would say her greatest accomplishment is that she raised 3 kids.
She is survived by her son Larry and daughter-in-law Jane of Chester, NY and her son Lyle of Toccoa, GA.
Laura is predeceased by her beloved daughter Joan Valentine, her sister Doris Bahlav and her brother Tom Cordes.
She leaves behind seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Laura had a quiet strength that served her well. She was a health nut long before it became fashionable. She walked and swam daily well into her late 80s and maintained good health well into her 90s. She was 98 years old at her passing.
At Lauras request, there will be no visitation. A small family gathering will take place to honor her memory at a later date.

Cremation will occur at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., under the direction of Thomas and Brendan Flynn.
