Kurtis Miguel Sparovich a lifelong resident of Chester, New York a student at the State University of New York at Binghamton who just completed his Freshman Year with a concentration in Physics died on June 29, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Wallkill, New York. Kurtis was 19 years of age. The son of Gustavo and Shari Denbigh Sparovich he was born in Warwick, New York on March 29, 1993. Kurtis graduated from Monroe Woodbury High School in 2011, he was a member of the New York DeMolay Camp Turk Chapter, and he had worked at the Chester Public Library and volunteered for Devine Felines at the Pet smart in Monroe, New York. Kurtis was a son, a brother and a friend to many. He loved to play soccer and it was amazing to watch him. His charismatic and genuine loving nature was his way and the way you knew him to be. To whom he touched in one way or another, a part of him will always be with them. He was an amazing, unique loving person that has given the gift of life to others. Kurtis is survived by his Grandfather Richard Denbigh of Neptune, NJ and his parents Gustavo and Shari Sparovich at home and his brothers, Gustavo Sparovich, Jr., Lucas Sparovich and Sam Sparovich all at home. Kurtis was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother Lucille Denbigh and his paternal grandparents America Villalobos Sparovich and Angel Sparovich, and his godfather Francisco Villalobos. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 during the hours of 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM, and on Friday, July 6, 2012 during the hour of 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church, 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Fr. Charles Szivos shall be the Celebrant of the Mass of Christian Burial and of the prayer services at the funeral home. Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York.
