Kathleen Hurley

Kathleen M. Hurley a home maker and a 32 year resident of the area, died at home on January 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving and caring family. She was 55 years of age. The daughter of the late Michael & Marie Griffin, she was born in Limerick, Ireland in the year of 1961. Kathleen was a member of St. Columba R.C. Church in Chester, NY. She is survived by her husband James. R. Hurley at home and their children, Steven M and Brian J. Hurley of Chester, NY and James P. Hurley of Washington, DC. A sister Valerie Griffin and her brothers Gary, Michael and Dermot Griffin also survive her. Kathleen was pre-deceased by her parents, and her beloved Aunt Patricia (Pat). Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2016 during the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church, located at 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Interment will follow at St. Columba R.C. Church Cemetery, Chester, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorial contributions be made in memory of Kathleen, to either St. Columba R.C.
