Julia Ann Agapito, a longtime resident of the area and a retired Cashier for Grand Union in Monroe, NY died on March 27, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, New York. She was 72 years of age. The daughter of the late Frank and Mary Quaranta, she was born in the Bronx on November 21, 1944. Julia was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Monroe, NY and a longtime active member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was the widow of John Agapito. Julia Ann is survived by her step children, Elizabeth Roman, Frank and Steven Agapito, along with two Grand-Children, Michael and Andrea, and four Great Grand-Children, Emily, Liliana, Aiden and Arianna. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews. Julia Ann was predeceased by her siblings Johnny, Pat and Frank Quaranta, Caroline Basile, and Dolores Platoni. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 during the hours of 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950 on Friday, March 312, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at St. Anastasia R.C.
