Joseph Lipsey

Joseph Lipsey a retired self employed Dairy Farmer and a lifelong resident of Chester, New York, died June 8, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, in Wallkill, New York. Joe was 82 years of age. The son of the late Joseph and Nellie Price Lipsey he was born in Chester, New York on October 27, 1930. Joe worked the dairy farm his entire working career, he was a hard worker and in his early days, enjoyed Monticello Racetrack with friends. He was a long time member of the Orange County Farm Bureau. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and his close friends Robert Lupinski and Gary Smith. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his siblings Walter, Stanley, Edward, Nellie and Caroline. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 during the hours of 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918. A service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Columba R.C. Church Cemetery, Route 94, Chester, New York 10918. Memorial contributions in Joe's memory to the Chester Ambulance Corps would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
