John Joseph Mullin Monroe, New York John Joseph Mullin of Monroe, New York, a retired Metallic Lather Union Foreman for Local 46 of the Metallic Lathers & Reinforcing Iron Workers, and a longtime resident of the area died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, in Newburgh, New York. He was 66 years of age. The son of the late John and Mary Mullin, he was born in 1948 and raised in Bronx, New York. John was a Vietnam Veteran, and proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a passionate lifelong New York Yankees and New York Jets Fan. He was a former athlete and a talented singer with a love for doo-wop. John had a great sense of humor, and lived life to the fullest. He will be missed his family and his many friends. John is survived by his children Kim-Marie Mullin, Kristine Mullin Schinella, John Patrick Mullin, Tricia Mullin Zamfino, Nicole Schneider and Christine Creamer. His siblings Theresa Mullin Roth, Patrick Mullin and brother in law - Mike Roth also survive John. His grandchildren Ryleigh, Dylan and Violet Zamfino, Jack and Gianina Schinella, Mia, Allie and Toby Schneider, Vivian Creamer, and his nephew Christopher Roth also survive him. Burial will be held at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, with Military Honors at 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, New York 10924 at 11:30 on Saturday, February 28, 2015. A repast will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Gerri Ann's Place, 809 Route 208, Monroe, New York. Due to the space constrictions the family is asking that only immediate family and friends of John Mullin attend this "Irish Wake". Thank you.
