Joann Waldhorn

Joann B. Waldhorn Cloidt of New Windsor, N.Y., died on February 17, 2022, at home with her family due to covid complications and her courageous battle with many different health problems.
Joann was born to Bertha Mae Halpin and Louis Anthony Cloidt Senior in Ossining, N.Y., on December 7, 1942, she was raised in Yonkers N.Y., and she attended catholic school and also Yonkers public schools.
She worked at the A&P for over 14 years, and also ran, and owned Deli's, and hot dog trucks. She was so talented, she made molds of chocolate of anything you wanted for holidays and special occasions.
Joann married Richard L Waldhorn on April 6, 1991, in Hastings on Hudson, N.Y., she relocated to New Windsor, N.Y., in February 1996 with her husband, children, and two grand kids
Survivors include her husband, Richard L Waldhorn, her daughter, Barbara Wood and her husband Donald, son, Michael Perrone and his wife Dawn, daughter Marie Perrone, her pride and joys, her grandchildren, Lisa Gonzalez, Paul Perrone, Michael Perrone Jr, William Sayej Jr, Matthew Perrone, and Hunter Perrone, her great-Grandchildren, Jacob Fifield, Seth Fifield, Jaden Fifield, Tyler Gonzalez, and Kaylani Sayej who will enter this word in march 2022, Joann's very first great-granddaughter.
Joann is also survived by her sister Michelle Kowaleski and her husband Walter of N.J., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in laws, and sister in laws,
She was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Louis, and her three sisters, and brother, Jacqueline Filichko, Matilda Olmsted, Frances Pucciello, and Louis Cloidt aka Junior.
Joann was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:30 am, at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers, N.Y to celebrate her life.
The cremation care will be completed at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., under the supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.
