Joan D. Kline

Joan Dorothy Kline (nee Mulligan) died on January 20, 2022. Born on April 21, 1934 to Andrew Mulligan and Evelyn Mulligan (nee) Doherty was 88 years old. Joan lived in Monroe, NY for 25 years after retiring from her position as a Supervising Financial Specialist of Mortgages for The Bank of America. She married George John Kline in 1954 and had one son, George Thomas Kline, in 1955. She lived with her family in GreenPoint, Brooklyn until moving to Monroe in 1996. She is pre-deceased by her husband and her son.
Joan resided at the Promenade in Middletown from 2019 until 2021 until she moved into Park Manor Skilled Nursing facility. She failed to thrive without her son near her; the past year was very difficult after her sons unexpected death in January 2021.
Joan was an active member of the Senior Citizens Club in Monroe. She was also a grandmother and great grandmother to her sons children, Steven, David, Kelly and Samantha Kline. Her sister Doris Gallo pre deceased her. She leaves behind her surviving Aunt Catherine and siblings Loretta Hurler and Richard Mulligan.
A Celebration of Life for Joan and her son George will be held on Friday February 4, 2022 during the hours of 9:00 am 10:30 am, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950 on Friday February 4, 2022 at 11:00 am..
A private burial will be held at Linden Hill Cemetery located in Queens, NY, at a later date. Joans and Georges cremains will be be interred alongside her husband/his father, George John Kline.
