Janusz Szczupider

Janusz Szczupider of Monroe, New York, died on October 21, 2024, at Westchester Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, New York.

He lived in Harriman, New York, from 1992 to 2014 and in Monroe, New York, from 2014 to 2024.

The son of Mieczysław and Anna Szczupider was born on December 19, 1943, in Grodziec, Poland. He was 80 years old.

Janusz was a member of the Coal Miners Association in Poland and the Professional Volleyball League in Poland.

Our beloved Janusz is with the Lord. His family misses him so deeply.

Janusz is survived by his wife, Barbara Szczupider, of Monroe, NY, whom he has been married to for 52 years, and his sons, Martin Szczupider and Karl Szczupider, also of Monroe, NY. 

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Cremation care will be provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc.

The family entrusted the care of Janusz to the Flynn family and staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
