David Watt Greenwood Lake, New York David Watt of Greenwood Lake, New York passed away suddenly on June 23, 2014. He was 79 years of age. The son of the late James and Betty Watt, he was born James David Watt in October of 1934 in Brooklyn, New York. After serving in the United States Army and being stationed in Germany, David opened Back Door Pub in Rockland County. Years later David pursued a career as a chimney repair specialist and formed the company David Watt Fireplace and Chimney Specialists. David leaves behind his lovely wife Tess and step-daughter, Katrina as well as an enormous circle of friends. David's warmth and generosity, his love of singing at Manhattan piano bars and being Captain at the helm of his "Ship" ("After You" renamed "Always") endeared him to so many, all of whom are proud to call hima friend. And I Love You So, On a Clear Day, If Ever I Would Leave You and It Takes Too Long To Learn To Live Alone are signature songs in David's repertoire... Thanks for the memories, David. There will be no public visitation. The cremation occurred under the direction of Thomas F. Flynn, Jr. at Oxford Hills Crematory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
