Jaime A. Bolivar Ariza

Jaime A. Bolivar Ariza, a five year residence of Harriman, NY died Thursday March 14, 2024 he was 67 Years old.

The Son of Jaime Arturo Bolivar Teresa De Bolivar, he was born in Bogota, Colombia on January 23, 1957.

While living in Colombia, he worked for the Bavaria Brewery Company for 28 years and moved to the United States to provide a better future for his wife and children. He worked as an Air Conditioner technician for Ace Air Conditioning Services in Astoria, NY for 18 years and retired as such.

Jaime was a dedicated husband, loving father, incredible grandfather, kind father-in-law, unique son, brother and uncle. Jaime's impact on our lives is immeasurable. His unwavering kindness, generous spirit, and infectious zest for life touched everyone he met. We will always remember his stories, his collection of toy cars, his passion when watching his soccer games, how he cared for and protected his family and how he always showed his infinite love for his granddaughters Sophia, Camila, Emily, and his grandson Luka and even for Benji, the family dog.

Jaime was always there with a smile and a helping hand, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and precious memories. As we gather to celebrate his life of him, we know that his spirit of him will continue to guide us, and we will always honor his memory of him by living our lives with the same love and compassion that he has exemplified. Rest in peace dear Boli, you will remain forever in our hearts.

Jaime era un esposo dedicado, un padre amoroso, un abuelo increíble, un hijo, hermano y tío

único. el impacto de Jaime en nuestras vidas es inmensurable. Su bondad inquebrantable, su

espíritu generoso y su contagioso ánimo de vida tocaron a todos los que conocía. Siempre

recordaremos sus historias, su colección de carros de juguete, de su pasión al ver sus partidos de

fútbol, de cómo cuidaba y protegía a su familia y como siempre demostraba su amor infinito por

sus nietas Sophia, Camila, Emily y su nieto Luka e incluso por Benji, el perro de la familia.

Jaime siempre estaba ahí con una sonrisa y una mano ayudadora, deja tras un legado de amor,

risa y recuerdos preciados. Mientras nos reunimos para celebrar su vida, sabemos que su espíritu

seguirá guiándonos, nosotros siempre honraremos su memoria viviendo nuestras vidas con el

mismo amor y compasión que él ejempló. Descansa en paz querido Boli, permanecerás para

siempre en nuestros corazones.

He is survived by his wife, Nydia I. Silva 56 Brookside Drive West  Harriman, NY 10926.

His children, Paola Rodriguez, Jimmy Bolivar & Diana Bolivar, his granddaughters Sophia, Camila & Emily and grandson Luka, his sons in law Andres Mauricio & Steven and his daughter in law Biljana survive him. He is also survived by his siblings German, Orlando, Fabian, William, Carmenza, Nelly & Patricia and their respective families. 

There will be a service for the immediate family only.

Brendan and Thomas Flynn provided cremation care at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc.

The family has entrusted Jaime's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.
