Irene A. Roach Chester, New York Irene A. Roach a retired Clerical Work for Camp LaGuardia Men's Shelter in Chester, New York and a lifelong resident of the area died January 20, 2014 at Valley View Center for Nursing Care in Goshen, New York. She was 88 years of age. Irene was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Myruski; she was born on September 13, 1925 in Goshen, NY. Irene was a member of St. Columba R.C. Church, Chester, New York and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Chester, NY. Irene is survived by her husband Joseph and their children Dave Roach of Chester, NY and Joseph and his wife Barbara Roach of Minoa, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephen Roach of Manlius, NY and Brendan Roach of San Diego, California and her siblings Vincent Myruski of Goshen, NY and Helen Lloyd of New Hampton, NY, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918 during the hours of 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church, 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918 at 10:00 AM with Fr. John Bonnici officiating. Burial will follow at St. Columba R.C. Church Cemetery, Route 94, Chester, New York 10918 in the family plot.
