Innocenza Piccininni

Innocenza (Nancy) Piccininni, of Wellington, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was 86 years of age. Nancy was born in Molfetta, Italy in 1932. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Piccininni in 2012. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lucia and her husband Kenneth Getz; her son, Joseph Piccininni; and his wife Georgette. She is further survived by her four grandchildren, Justin, Bryan, Stephen and Alec; her great-grandchildren Giovanna and Francesca; her sisters, Anna Edlund, Lucrezia and her husband Vito La Forgia, and her sister-in-law Lucy Parisi, as well as several devoted nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Giovanna Nocera, and Teresa Turci, her brother Donato Parisi. Nancy was a beautiful person both inside and out. She was a doting mother and grandmother, and possessed an endearing spirit which was evident to all who met her. Nancy worked in the garment business and raised her children in Cliffside Park, NJ. Later, she moved to Highland Mills, NY, before retiring to Florida. Nancy and her husband Joe lived happily for many years on their little "Paradise Island" in Hallandale Beach, until her husband Joe's death in 2012. Visitation will take place on Friday July 19, 2019, during the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM at St. Columba R.C. Church, located at 27 High Street in Chester, NY 10918. Burial will follow at 1:15 PM at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, located at 111 Craigville Road, in Goshen, NY 10924. In lieu of flowers, the family has specifically requested that memorial contributions be made to: The Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. 60601. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F. Flynn and Brendan T. Flynn, and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
