Helen Costello

Helen (Norton) Costello, of East Brunswick, NJ, and formerly of Monroe, NY, passed away on July 6, 2021, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was 87 years old. The daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Norton, she was born on June 14, 1934, in the Bronx, NY. Helen was a former School Bus Driver for the Washingtonville School District. Helen will be remembered as an avid bingo player and casino player. She loved being at the Jersey Shore with her family, and she will be greatly loved and missed by all. Helen is the Widower of Terrence Costello. She is predeceased by her siblings, Michael, Ann (Dwyer), James, Thomas and John. Helen is survived by her beloved son, Stephen Costello and his wife Karen (Pfaff) of East Brunswick, NJ, her beloved granddaughters, Shannon and Meagan Costello, her brother, Patrick and his wife Carol, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Helens name to Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, located at 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, New York, 10992. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, located at 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, New York, 10992.
