Giuseppe "Joe" Curaba Chester, NY Giuseppe "Joe" Curaba, a 32-year resident of Chester, New York, died on June 11, 2017. He was 73 years of age. He was born in Raffadali, Italy in 1944, the son of the late Paolo and Antonina Curaba. Joe joins his daughter, Angela, in Heaven. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Curaba of Chester, New York; son Paul and his girlfriend, Kori Turner; daughter Nina and her fiancAC., Jim Ognibene; grandson Rocco Angelo Ognibene; his in-laws Antony and Catherine Scalia, Peter and Katherine Scalia, Vito and Denise Scalia, and Giuseppe Scifo; his nieces and nephews Jerry Scifo, Josephine and Vito DiPaola, Liborio (Benny) and Stacie Scalia, Anthony and Amaris Scalia, Angela and Larry Molinelli, Aurelia and Alessandra Scalia, Vito and Lauren Scalia, Peter, Marco and Deanna Scalia; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and also surviving family in Sicily. Joe is predeceased by his daughter, Angela, his sisters Pasqualina and Gina; and his sister-in-law, Mattia Scifo. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 11:00 AM in St. Columba R.C. Church, located at 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Interment will follow at the Cemetery of the Highlands, located at 634 NY State Route 32, Highland Mills, New York. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
