Frank Silvestri of Campbell Hall, New York passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 53 years of age. The son of the late Frank and Mary Silvestri, he was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1961. Frank was a CMA who worked for the MTA New York City Transit at the 207th Street Car Equipment Overhaul Facility. Frank loved spending time with his family, hunting, coaching and playing hockey. He is survived by his wife Bernadette at home; and their children Frank and Kristen. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Silvestri and her children Robert and Jodi and her husband Mario Russo; Lori and her husband Gary Capaldo; his nephew Kenneth Silvestri; his niece DeeDee and her husband Wade Whittemore along with his great nieces and nephews, numerous in-laws and nieces & nephews on his wife's side of the family. Frank was predeceased by his brother Kenneth Silvestri. Visitation will be held during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church located at 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918.
