Emilia "Amy" Breeler, ne Eridon, born on February 28, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 97. She graduated from Orange High School in Pepper Pike, Ohio in 1944. Amy met and married the late Lee W. Breeler after the war and celebrated 72 years with her beloved "Breel." In addition to raising a family of three children, she worked as a real estate agent both in Chagrin Falls, OH and Tucson, AZ for over 30 years.
The eldest of five girls, Amy was born to Romanian immigrants. She led an amazing life--good, bad, and everything in between. As a teen, she helped her mother support her four younger sisters (Eugenia, Eleanora, Elsiana, and Elizabeth). Amy was deeply loved and admired by her sisters as well as by her many nieces and nephews.
Amy's outgoing, caring, and vibrant personality touched many and her lifelong friendships abounded. She was a voracious reader and well-versed in many subjects. She was an avid tennis player who also enjoyed antiques, cooking, and travel.
Amy was predeceased by her daughter Pamela Breeler and is survived by her sons David Breeler, Thomas (Jessica) Breeler,grandchildren Kelli (Brad) Brodnax, Chad Breeler, and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Amy and Lee is planned for a later date. Both will be interred at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
