Edward Joseph Horrigan, Jr. Monroe, New York Edward Joseph Horrigan, Jr., a retired Transit Police Officer for the New York City Police Department and a 20 year resident of Monroe, New York died April 3, 2015 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. He was 59 years of age. The son of the late Edward and Mary Horrigan, Sr., he was born in Yonkers, New York in December of 1955. Edward was a member of the NYC Police Department PBA. "Edward Horrigan was the best man to walk this earth. The most hardworking, caring, and selfless man we will ever have the honor of growing up with". He is survived by his wife Josefina Horrigan at home and their children Mary Horrigan, Josefina Horrigan, Edward Horrigan and Kimmeo Dixon, along with 3 grandchildren Kameron, Jack and Kimmeo. His sister MaryAnn Horrigan and his brother Michael Horrigan and his wife Joann also survive Edward. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 during the hours of 5 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Parish Church located at 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926. Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York Funeral arrangements and the cremation service has been entrusted to Thomas F.
