Duilio P. Sabella, 96, of Chester, New York passed away on May 21, 2020 at Sapphire Health Care Facility in Goshen, NY. He was born August 20, 1923 in Guttenberg, NJ to the late Adamo and Josephine (Micelli) Sabella. He proudly served in World War II in the Transportation Corp of the United States Army in the South Pacific, after which worked as an Electrical Designer, having worked on such projects as the 1964-65 Worlds Fair, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and several Power Plants. He is survived by his loving wife Christina (Marchese), his daughter Rita Shader and husband Richard of Hendersonville, NC, his son William and wife Dora of Chester, NY, Grandchildren Amy Slaven and husband Geoff of Hendersonville, NC, Dina Campbell and husband Patrick of Campbell Hall, NY, Jennifer Richard and husband Michael of Hendersonville NC, Marisa Sitko and husband Jaime of Chester NY, Nicole Sabella of Middletown, NY, and 13 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Tessie, Charlie, Lindy, Peter and Michael. Due to the current health restrictions the family will hold private services at this time, after which interment of cremains will be at Orange County Veterans Cemetery located in Goshen, NY.
