Donna Marie Fetky

Donna Marie Fetky, a retired beautician of Xanado and Sister Act beauty salons of Harriman, NY passed away on August 5, 2021, peacefully at home. Donna was born on February 18, 1954 in Yonkers, NY to Genevieve Gianzero and the late Patsy V. Gianzero. Donna grew up in Yonkers where she graduated from Commerce High School in 1972 with a beautician certificate and started her career. Donna was a caring and loving person that would do anything for her family and friends. Donna was a loving daughter, mother, sister, wife, and friend. Donna married the love of her life, Andrew M. Fetky, Jr. on May 25, 1975 and was happily married for 35 years. Donna loved being a mother to her two sons, Andrew and Mark. Donna was a loving sister to Patricia, Patsy, Genevieve, and Lisa. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and she also loved her great nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by husband Andrew M. Fetky, Jr., father Patsy V. Gianzero, niece and nephew Danielle and Robert (Bobby) Schweizer, Jr., and mother-in-law Helen Fetky. Donna will be loved and missed by everyone that has ever crossed her path. She will be remembered for her loving nature and how much she cared for her family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, during the hours of 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. Burial will follow on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Anastasia Cemetery, 21 N Main St, Harriman, NY 10926. In lieu of flowers the family please ask that donations be made in Donna's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
