Diane Barbara Morran of Woodbridge, NY a retired United States Postal Service Employee and a 8 year resident of the area died, October 27, 2012 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. She was 61 years of age. The daughter of the late Mary & William Morran she was born in New York City on August 27, 1951 Diane was a loving and caring sister, the perfect aunt, a good friend, a person that was there when you needed her. She is survived by her siblings, Ruthann Christophides and her husband Louie of Walden, NY, Joanne Soler and her husband Armando of Puerto Rico, Jeannie Morran of Florida, Bernadette Morran of Pennsylvania, Michael Morran of Bronx, NY, Robert Morran and his wife Nancy of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews, 40 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews. Diane was pre-deceased by her parents, and sisters, Mary Giudice and Valerie Pettinger, her brothers William and Thomas Morran, and nephews Armando Soler and Sean Morran, along with her best friends Terry Planica, Cindy Walsh and Nancy Schunk Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 during the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment in St. Anastasia R.C. Church Cemetery, Harriman, NY. Memorial contributions in Diane's name to Make a Wish Foundation/Hudson Valley Chapter, 832 South Broadway, Tarrytown, New York 10591 would be appreciated by the family.
