The son of Suzanne M. Pappas, she was born on October 7, 1953, in Passaic, NJ. Dean was predeceased by his father Dean Nicholas Pappas I of Paramus, NJ born in June 26, 1952.
Dean was a member of Hickory Hill Golf League Monday Nights & Pin Street Bowling League on Wednesday nights.
Family Statement:
Dean Nicholas Pappas II passed away unexpectedly on October 14th, 2023, at his home in Florida, New York. Dean was 38 years old and left behind two daughters, Marissa and Layley. He also had a loving family who cared for him deeply, including his mother, Suzanne Pappas; Brother James Pappas; Sister Kristine Pappas; and two nephews, Daniel Pappas and Luke Pappas. He had a huge heart and genuinely cared for people. He was highly passionate about his beliefs and the people he cared about.
He strived to be the best at everything and anything he put his mind to. He built his landscaping business from the ground up and worked extremely hard to achieve that. He loved playing and watching football and was a big-time NY Giants fan. Dean was a talented cook and fantastic behind the barbeque grill. He played chess, was part of a golf and bowling league, loved fishing and disc golf, and was naturally gifted in all.
He absolutely loved and adored his daughters and was a very playful and fun dad. He loved to joke around and make them laugh. He was also a loving and fun uncle and adored and loved his nephews.
The loss of our sweet Dean leaves a void in all of us who loved him dearly. There is no one quite like him, and we miss his charismatic presence in our lives. We will take care of each other until we meet again.
Dean is survived by his mother, Suzanne, and his children, Marissa Pappas of Port Orange, FL, and Layley Pappas of Warwick, NY.
Memorial visitation will be held on November 4, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Rd. Monroe, NY 10950.
Services will start at 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation care is provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY.
